Diaries

Come and meet Maria, Anna and Christina. They’ve all joined the CoreWellness programme and are following Kari Bø’s Pelvicore Technique while they’ve each kept a diary.

Christina, Maria and Anna have each been facing their own personal obstacles, but as you will read, Alyssa Abbey has given each of them personalised advice.

Anna

I’ve got into the habit of doing the squeezes whenever I brush my teeth – but I’ve got a bit slack about fitting Kari Bø’s full routine into my busy days, so that’s probably why I’m not as in control as I could be. I know I need to dig up the DVD and get back on track – but not sure when I’ll find the time – or the energy.

Maria

OK, I admit it. I’ve slipped up lately. The routine of exercising with my kids has been side-tracked. They lost interest quickly and have gone on to other things. So I guess I sort of took my lead from them and ‘conveniently’ forgot to do the exercises as devoutly as I was doing them a few weeks back.

Christina

I’m really self-conscious about how unfit I am compared to the others in my pilates class. And how ungraceful! I feel really awkward keeping up. Sometimes I wonder if it’s always going to feel like such hard work.

Download Motivational Chart

CoreWellness has created a handy motivation chart to help you manage your Pelvicore Technique as part of your regular schedule.

Why don’t all of you download the motivation chart (if you haven’t done so already) and print it out. Stick it up somewhere you’re always passing to remind you to do your exercises, and tick off each time you do them. Counting the ticks will really help you.
