The menopause didn’t stop me doing anything - I stayed really active - but then my bladder weakness started, and I had to think twice about doing all my favourite things, such as tennis, because I was so embarrassed when I left the court with my shorts all wet.
TENA pads help me to feel more confident and fresher, but it would be wonderful not to have to rely on them, so I’m keen to see if the Pelvicore Technique can help me. On first viewing, I liked the relaxing music - it helped to calm me and made the exercises more enjoyable. But I have to admit that I felt a bit awkward on my first try and found it a bit tricky to be as coordinated as the women on the film. I guess I’ve never been great at following along in exercise classes - but I’ll keep trying and I’m hoping it will get easier with practice.
